The mission

Give people honest, community-evidence-based guidance on which AI companions deserve their trust and which will disappear on them — reviews, shutdown histories, platform comparisons, and a buyer’s trap guide, all dated and UNVERIFIED-labeled where unverifiable.

How the research was built

Five rounds of social-first research across 64 products, September 18–21, 2026. The primary layer was community discussion — Threads, Instagram, Facebook groups, Twitch, Reddit, GitHub, Product Hunt, dev forums, app stores — before any manufacturer page was consulted. Dossiers carry validation tiers; the Library keeps every one of them.

What this site is not

• Not hands-on testing. The site attributes lived experience to the people who reported it; it does not pretend to have used these products.
• Not sponsored. Sponsored content is banned outright. How this site makes money.
• Not a fan site. Verdicts have a spine: who should buy, who shouldn’t.

Limits

Research is a snapshot. Prices change, companies die, apps update. Every dated fact carries its date so you can tell what’s fresh. If you spot something wrong or stale, send a tip.
